FREE! Overview using PSElements
- This video will present the overview of the entire Introduction to Digital Scrapbooking. It will show you a final digital scrapbook page created in Adobe Photoshop Elements. This will give you a better understanding of what is covered in this volume of training video tutorials.
FREE! Zoom/hand/move using PSE
- The basic Photoshop Elements tools such as the zoom, rectangle marquee, hand and move tools will be covered in this video tutorial segment.
FREE! Crop Tool using PSElements
- The crop tool allows you to select an area of an image and discard everything outside this area. Various sizes can be set while cropping to maintain a perfect proportion of your standard photo prints.
FREE! Clone Stamp using PSElements
- The clone stamp tool does exactly what its name implies. Using this tool, you can copy a portion of an image and reapply it repeatedly to cover an unwanted area of a photo. This segment will give you a step by step process of using the clone tool in depth.

- Digital Scrapbookers can not live with out the text tool. This video shows you the basic ways to add, rotate, change color, and scale the text/type. More about the text tool will be covered in the Page Creation segment.
Resolution (members only)
- Resolution is the number of units that occupy a linear inch in an image. It's measured in terms of ppi, or 'pixels per inch' when viewed in an image or on the monitor. It's also referred to as 'dots per inch' or dpi in terms of printing. This video will help you better understand why resolution is so important in terms of the quality of your digital photos.
Layers Part 1 (members only)
- We will cover the basic reasoning behind layers-how to add, delete and rename a layer, you'll change the stacking order and a whole lot more! We will start with a blank 12 x 12 page and copy and paste several layers within the document. This segment is crutial in helping you understand the importance of layers.
Layers Part 2 (members only)
- This will be a continuation of Part 1 and will demonstrate the advantages of using a layer style. Adding borders and dropshadows to your photos will be a snap after you view this segment. It will also cover the differences between jpg and psd files. It is very important to save a separate original psd file in order to keep your layer intact so that when or if you want to make changes you can go back and do so.
Gathering/Organizing Photos (members only)
- Make sure you plan out your page before hand and it will save you lots of frustration in the long run. We will cover the best way to gather, prepare and organize your photos in which you will be using for your final scrapbook page.
Page Creation Part 1 (members only)
- This is where the fun begins. We will start with a blank slate. I will show you how to do a quick thumbnail of how you want your final layout to look. We will plan the page just like you planned your pages the traditional way.
Page Creation Part 2 (members only)
- Once we have the background paper created we will start copying and pasting the images that we want to use for our page. We will add borders and drop shadows to the pictures and also work more with text placement.
Page Creation Part 3 (members only)
- We're getting close to completing our first page! The final touches and last minute changes will be completed in this video segment.
Page Creation Part 4 (members only)
- This is the final step to getting your scrapbook page printed. I will give you the secrets to saving money and how to get one 12" x 12" and two 6" x 6" layouts of the same page for under $3! NOW THAT is an AMAZING price! You will be amazed at how much money you will save by GOING DIGITAL!
